Storm Water Systems questions

What is storm water drainage?

Storm water drainage carries rainwater from roofs, yards and paving away from the property. It is usually separate from the foul water system.

Can storm water damage foundations?

Rainwater that is not discharging properly can soak into the ground near foundations and cause problems over time. Keeping it moving away from the building reduces that risk.

How do I know if my storm water system is failing?

Look for standing water after rain, overflowing gutters or downpipes, or damp patches near the building. Early advice is usually cheaper than waiting for flooding.
